He also played in several summer leagues, including the New York Collegiate League and the Perfect Game Collegiate League. Ryan began his professional career in the PECOS League playing for the North Platte 80s, where he continued to showcase his offensive and defensive skills. Lutinski’s fielding experience includes time at catcher, first base, right field, and even a brief pitching appearance. J.J. began his collegiate career at Youngstown State University before transferring to Erskine College in South Carolina, where he had a standout senior season. In 2006, Newman was drafted by the New York Mets in the 35th round of the MLB June Amateur Draft. Joining The Clubhouse in 2022, Steve Malvagna is a former professional baseball player known for his versatility on the field, having played as a catcher, pinch hitter, and left fielder. Malvagna played college baseball at Adelphi University, where he was a standout performer. He later transferred to C.W. Post, starting 30 of 31 games behind the plate and leading the team in home runs while maintaining an impressive .995 fielding percentage. Steve's professional career spanned five years, including two seasons within the New York Mets organization. Joining The Clubhouse pitching and coaching staff in 2024, Ian Murray was a college baseball pitcher for Manhattanville University in Purchase, New York. Murray has played four seasons with the Manhattanville Valiants, earning recognition on the Skyline Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll for three consecutive years (2021–2024) In his senior season (2024), Murray pitched in five games, including two starts. His standout performance came on March 27 against Yeshiva, where he allowed just one run on two hits across seven innings and struck out eight batters. Sarge joined The Clubhouse coaching staff in 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience coaching youth baseball and softball. A dedicated student of the game, he is proficient in using Blast Baseball technology to enhance player development. As Director of Youth Development, Sarge oversees the 9U–13U teams and instills an IMPACT mentality—Individually Motivated People Attack Challenges Together.

Michael Jude “MJ” Porzio is an outfielder at Felician University who previously competed at Sussex County Community College. In 2026, MJ set Sussex’s single-season record with 58 runs scored, surpassing the previous mark of 48, and tied the school’s single-season stolen base record with 45. At The Clubhouse, MJ teaches hitting and pitching to athletes ages 11–14, bringing collegiate playing experience and a lifetime of learning from his father, retired MLB pitcher Mike Porzio. No athlete has spent more hours learning from Mike than MJ. A little-known fact: MJ has two Perfect Game profiles—one as a left-handed pitcher and another as a right-handed pitcher—giving him a unique connection to both sides of the mound. Joining The Clubhouse in 2018, Joe Zanghi began his collegiate career at UCONN, then transferred to Cumberland County CC, where he played as both a pitcher and catcher and was drafted. Zanghi was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 24th round of the 2015 MLB Draft but chose not to sign. Instead, he joined the New York Mets organization as an amateur free agent in 2016. Over the course of his minor league career (2016–2022), Zanghi played across multiple levels, making his AAA Syracuse Mets debut in May of 2018. He also competed in the Arizona Fall League for the Scottsdale Scorpions in 2018. Known for his strong strikeout ability, Zanghi posted a career minor league ERA of 3.10 over 284.1 innings, with 302 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.28.
